Many Nigerians who by one means or the other have found themselves in diaspora find it quite easy to forget home. Only a few have put up something of note, especially in the entertainment sector, with Don Jazzy, D'Banj JJC Skillz among the microscopic few.

According to reports, the mother of 14-year old tennis prodigy, Angel MacLeod was shot dead by a MOPOL officer after an altercation at a Lagos hotel yesterday. According to  Vanguard , the officer who was guarding the hotel hit the deceased during an altercation and she retaliated, hitting him with an object. Infuriated at her response, the officer fired a shot from his gun which resulted in the death of MacLeod's mother. It was learnt that the 14-year old is in shock, as her mother was her primary dependant. MacLeod is the leading junior tennis player in her category winning every trophy on offer.

Over the weekend rapper Meek Mill was mocked by his fans and followers over a red coat he wore and shared a pic on instagram. They said the coat looked like a little girl's coat. Meek defended his fashion choices by sharing another pic of him wearing another colour of the coat with its prize tag (right pic)

A police man was beaten up by people in Ogbomoso road in Oyo state this morning after the police vehicle he was riding in was accused of causing an accident in the area. The eye witness who spoke to LIB said the police van was chasing a taxi for reasons he doesn't know and the taxi crashed into another car and into the bush and burst into flames.
